
SAM SUTTON
Head Coach (16U Black)
Sam Sutton graduated from Scott County High School in 2018 where he was a 4-year letterman, as well as 2x East vs West All Star game participant, 3x All-District, 3x All-Region, and All-State as a senior. After high school, he continued his baseball career at Walters State Community College in Morristown, Tennessee. Coach Sutton was forced to medically retire following multiple labrum surgeries.

Following his playing career, Coach Sutton returned to Scott County High School to serve as the pitching and outfield coach from 2021-2022. He served as the head coach at Model High School in Richmond, Kentucky from 2023-2024 and set the school record for number of wins.

Coach Sutton currently serves as the head coach at Montgomery County High School in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky where he finished his inaugural 2025 season with a 20-15 record and as runner-up to the Region 10 championship.
