"I've had the absolute pleasure of watching Brad Wands work with my son since from when he was seven years old until he turned 17. Eleven whole years of getting to see, up close and personal, just what a difference he's made in my son’s life - not just as a baseball player, but as a person too.

The man really knows the game, and he's got a truly exceptional ability to break down the fundamentals into something his team can really understand and play the game. Every practice and game was on point, totally organized, well thought out, and all about helping the team improve.

He's got a way of communicating that just works clear and to the point, always setting the bar high, but at the same time cheering them on and motivating them to give it their all. And to become winners on and off the field.

You can see why he's such a great coach and just a great guy! He's got a real feel for game strategy and always puts his players in the position to do their best. As a parent, I've seen that with my own eyes.

What really sets him apart though is the way he connects with the kids - he genuinely cares about each and every one of them, treats them like one of his own and gets that same respect right back. My son always knew that Coach Wands had faith in him, and that made all the difference for him on the field and off. It was a huge help when it came to his high school baseball career and beyond. He's a better person for it and it’s now helping him out in his career.

That's not all - the one thing that really stood out to me through it all is the kind of person he is himself. Over the years he's taught my son a whole lot more than just how to play baseball...he's taught him the value of hard work, attitude, effort, being accountable, being disciplined, showing respect, and working as a team, no matter the outcome. Having those lessons will stay with my son for the rest of his life.

It's pretty rare to find someone as dedicated to helping young players grow into great young men like he is, and my family will be forever grateful for the positive influence he's had on my son's life. I can honestly say the guy's not just an amazing coach but an awesome friend! And a great role model. I highly recommend him without a doubt!"
