"The summer before my son's 13U baseball season, the team he was playing for split up. This left us looking for a team for him to join. We were familiar with the Georgetown Mavericks, having played against them numerous times in previous years. After speaking with Coach Wands and Coach Fields, we decided our son would join the Mavericks.

I can say without hesitation it was a tremendous decision. We were immediately impressed with the organization, practice setup, communication, and more. Individual attention was given to each player in order to help them grow as a player.

Our son, Noah, still says to this day that he learned more in that one year than he had ever learned about baseball before. As a coach myself, I also learned valuable practice and game strategies from Coach Wands that I later utilized as a middle school coach. The team was incredibly competitive, winning numerous tournaments in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and more.
