"I have coached youth baseball for 15 years, including summer/travel baseball for the last 10 years.  I first met Coach Wands in the fall of 2023 when my older son tried out for Georgetown Baseball Club, and he was rostered for Coach Wands’ 16U team.  Over the course of the last three years, I have witnessed first-hand, as a parent of a player, Coach Wands as a head baseball coach, and I have experienced his leadership as a founder and officer of a successful, growing summer/travel baseball organization from my perspective as a head coach and an assistant coach within the organization.
 

I have seen his commitment to the players and their development, not only as baseball players, but also as young men.  His knowledge of the game is obvious, and his care for the players as people is readily apparent.  His players are fundamentally sound and execute on the field at a superior level.  More importantly, in my opinion, his players are disciplined in their approach and conduct themselves on and off the field in a mature, respectful manner while at the ballpark.  
 

In addition to his coaching and mentoring capabilities, I have seen Coach Wands operate administratively as a founder and leader within an organization.  Georgetown Baseball Club began as one team that Coach Wands helped coach.  Since its founding, the organization, under his leadership, has grown from one team to 10 teams, and has expanded its reach to include rosters of players throughout Central Kentucky.
 

In the three years I have known Coach Wands, I have been fortunate to witness his coaching and leadership from a variety of perspectives (parent of a player, head coach and assistant coach within the organization he leads). Throughout this time, he has demonstrated himself to be a consummate professional and an exemplary coach, mentor and leader."
